Return to your hotel with a stop at the Chatuchak Weekend Market, one of the largest markets in the world and packed full of wonderful Thai products. The market is a hive of activity and you can shop till your hearts content of simply soak up the atmosphere with a relaxing foot massage or iced tea!
Day 5: Chiang Mai
Morning flight with Thai Airways to Chiang Mai and transfer to the Imperial Mae Ping Hotel for 2 nights. This afternoon take a tour to see some of the highlights of Chiang Mai Tour including some of the most interesting temples in the city. Visit the famous hillside Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, with its golden spires and bronze Buddhas. The evening is at leisure with a visit to the Night Market is recommended.
Day 6: Mae Kampong
Morning transfer to the nearby village of Mae Kampong, set along a stream in the mountains near Chiang Mai. Walk through the forest with locals and learn of their conservation of the forest. Help prepare tonight’s meal in a village home and see a wonderful sunset from the mountain top before returning to Chiang Mai in the evening.
